I have been on annual leave for the last 8 days and its gone so quick. I have been busy making a few cards which are now in the Gallery. Unfortunately the camera doesnt do them any justice. The leopard skin shoes cards from www.craftrabbit.com are beautiful in real life, I suppose its cos I take my photos when its dark.
Really pleased with the Birthday card I made with my new software Serif PagePlus x6 there are alot more things being added to the software including a large library of clip art which is where these silhouettes come from. The card didnt even take 5 mins to make. Might be abit boring to some people but I think its great for a test run. The oriental dress is just something I found on my computer, so went into PagePlus x6 enlarged it, printed off 2 copies, 1 for the front and one with a verse for the inside. The valentines card is from Creative Cardmaking Issue 37 using the free papers and toppers and adding a doily and flourishes cut with Cameo. The tuxedo is www.craftsuprint.com cup207320_566 printed off and made up and added a MCS Flower Expert flower, then I opened up the same sheet in PagePlus x6 and it was smaller so instead of re-sizing I printed off a copy and then cropped what I needed for the decoupage and printed those off onto photo paper which made it look brighter and mounted onto a A5 card.
Back to work on Wednesday so there wont be much cardmaking tomorrow as I had better do some cleaning and demolish the pile of ironing that needs doing.
